Joe "Diamond J" Gillenwater

Joe

What do you get when you cross David Lee Roth, Ronald Reagan, Eddie Van Halen, and throw in a little bit of E. T. for good measure? You get Joe "Diamond J" Gillenwater. Playing since the age of six, and completely self taught, Joe has learned the styles of many accomplished players ranging from Buck Owens, to Eddie Van Halen, and his all time guitar hero, Brian May of Queen. This resulting in an old school, melodic, play-so-fast-you-can't-see his fingers type of style . His all time influence was Joshua Travis (of Full Circle), a childhood friend who provided him with friendly (and sometimes not so friendly) competion and unending inspiration.
